How to pick the right rating and voltage
Start from your daily kWh consumption, not from the turbine rating. As a working rule: under 5 kWh/day choose 1–2kW; 5–15 kWh/day choose 3–5kW; above 15 kWh/day or with pumps and machinery choose 10kW.
Then pick voltage by distance and power: 24V for short runs at low power, 48V for most homes, and 96V or 120V when the turbine sits far from the battery room or when you are running 5kW and above. Higher voltage means lower current, thinner cable and fewer losses.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 1kW and the 10kW version?
Rotor size, generator winding and mast requirements. The 1kW is a light residential unit; the 10kW is a substantial installation requiring an engineered foundation, heavier cabling and, in most countries, planning consent.
When should I choose 96V or 120V instead of 48V?
When the turbine is far from your battery room, or when you are at 5kW and above. Higher system voltage lowers current for the same power, which reduces cable thickness, voltage drop and heat.
Do I need planning permission?
In most countries a mast-mounted turbine above a certain height requires local authorisation, and grid connection always does. Check with your local authority before ordering a large rating.
Is a controller included?
Controller availability depends on the variant selected. Check the option list on this page before checkout; if you already own an MPPT wind controller matched to your voltage, you can use it.
Can it run in a hybrid system with solar?
Yes. A hybrid MPPT controller charges the same battery bank from both sources, which is the standard configuration for year-round off-grid supply.
What certification does it carry?
