Why MPPT matters on the wind channel
A PWM regulator only charges once the turbine's rectified voltage exceeds battery voltage — at low wind, the rotor spins and you get nothing. Boost MPPT lifts that lower voltage into a usable charge current, which is where most of the extra annual kWh comes from at inland sites with average speeds around 4–6 m/s.

- Connect the battery first, then the PV array, then the turbine — never the reverse
- Use a fuse or breaker on the battery lead, sized for the controller rating
